International law firm moves 125-strong Manchester team to No.1 Spinningfields
Squire Patton Boggs has relocated its Manchester team to No.1 Spinningfields.
The international law firm today (January 15) established a 27,500 sq ft base spanning three floors at the 24-storey scheme.
The plan to set up shop at No.1 Spinningfields was first announced two years ago, when the complex was still under construction.
More than 125 Squire Patton Boggs employees now work at the new office, benefiting from access to a client suite, collaborative work space and a rooftop bar offering panoramic views over the city.
Rob Elvin, the firm’s Manchester-based managing partner, said: “We are delighted with our new office at No.1 Spinningfields, which provides us with a modern, world-class working environment, reflective of our global brand; a prestigious platform for the firm’s long term future in the city.
“In the coming weeks we are looking forward to welcoming clients and business contacts to our new office, which will provide a fantastic working environment for us all.”
The firm has invested in its Manchester team in recent months, including with the appointment of partner Kerry Lee in December and a trio of new faces in September.
Speaking further, Rob said: “As the firm continues to grow in Manchester, we are strengthening our capabilities with the appointment of highly skilled, specialist lawyers across all of our practices.
“These appointments, together with our move to No.1 Spinningfields, underline the scale of our ambition for continued growth in the region and our desire to provide the highest quality service to our clients.”
Squire Patton Boggs has operated in the North West for more than 25 years.
