London burger chain to open Brighton venue

Burger brand Patty & Bun is expanding outside London for the first time.

The company is set to open a new restaurant at 56 Ship Street in Brighton with space for up to 50 guests.

The 1,500 sq ft venue, spanning basement, ground and first-floor space, was secured by UK leisure property agency Shelley Sandzer.

Patty & Bun currently operates 10 locations across the capital.

Joe Grossman, founder of Patty & Bun, said: “We are really excited to kick off 2018 with the opening of our first restaurant outside of London.

“Our strong relationship with Shelley Sandzer has played a crucial role in Patty & Bun’s UK growth.”

Nick Weir, joint managing partner at Shelley Sandzer, said: “Opening the first regional restaurant in Brighton is a milestone for Patty & Bun and we are delighted to have represented them and to be a part of this noteworthy step in their expansion.

“We have no doubt the brand’s exceedingly popular offer will be a huge success in Brighton, and this key central location in the region will allow them to create a real buzz amongst a brand-new dining customer.”

Patty & Bun will launch in Brighton in February.
