East Yorkshire business blazes a trail with significant business growth
The UK’s leading Arc Flash protective clothing specialist, ProGARM, is celebrating its most successful year to date, with the company boasting an impressive 58% growth during 2017, thanks to major contract wins with global industry leaders and continued product development.
Experiencing a buoyant year packed with new appointments and a planned expansion into the European safety industry, 2017 has seen ProGARM win contracts with Siemens, Kier and Murphy and MHI Vestas, as well as launching two new innovative products to its extensive range.
The unprecedented growth has also led to a team expansion, with three new team members – including Reece Büchner as Internal Sales Executive - being recruited to its East Yorkshire based office in as many months.
The family owned business, based in Gilberdyke, near Hull is at the forefront of the PPE clothing industry, supplying its pioneering Arc Flash garments across the globe, including to contractors in the US and across Europe.
Protecting contractors in the petrochemical, wind energy, utilities, power generation, rail and industrial electrical industries from fatal or life changing injuries, ProGARM prides itself in working closely with its customers to make sure their needs are met, through its extensive range of innovative safety garments.
Mark Lant, Technical Sales Manager at ProGARM, said: “It’s been a really exciting year for ProGARM, we’re delighted to be working alongside major global brands to protect their employees from the dangers of Arc Flash.
“Over the past year we’ve strengthened our team to meet the growing demand and we’re continuously looking for way to update and improve our existing products, so that we can remain one-step-ahead when it comes to Arc Flash protection. With many more products in the pipeline we look forward to seeing what 2018 will bring for ProGARM.”
