Perkbox launches its biggest campaign yet to tackle rising energy prices
Said to be one of the UK’s fastest growing employee benefits platforms, Perkbox has partnered with iChoosr, aiming to offer further value for money to users in such a high-cost era.
The campaign, titled ‘Big Perkbox Energy Switch’, is to provide all Perkbox customers and umbrella companies with the chance to harness the collective buying power of the Perkbox community, securing energy tariffs for those in need.
Ofgem figures show that 57 per cent of households - representing around 13m people - are on a standard variable rate tariff. If consumers are not in a fixed contract, they are likely to be on their suppliers’ standard variable tariff, which are often the most expensive.
George Frost, iChoosr’s UK country manager, commented: “Collective switching works at its best when trusted brands appeal to their audiences so we are excited to see how the Perkbox community responds.
“It provides a safe and easy route for people who would not otherwise switch, enabling them to make an informed decision.”
This campaign is part of Perkbox’s continued effort to integrate into the day-to-day lives of its users, moving beyond the usual discounts and benefits and helping them save on the services where people financially suffer the most.
To participate, users need to redeem the benefit on the Perkbox platform before February 12. They will then be asked for minimal information about their energy consumption and the rest is handled by iChoosr. Registration is free.
Chieu Cao, CMO and co-founder at Perkbox, added: “Our objective here at Perkbox is to provide not only luxury perks to our users, but to also help them and their families with their everyday needs.
“No one can deny that the cost of living in the UK is expensive. But looking at utility bills, there can be a huge difference depending on which provider you go with.
“Over the last couple of years, we’ve built up a fantastic community of members. Now, we are looking to harness the power of the group to bring our users something they otherwise wouldn’t have access to.
“Ultimately, this is another powerful way to attract the best people and create greater loyalty, leading to high-performance and improved retention.”
