Cascade Sponsorship Sets 104th Institute Annual Dinner
The Insurance Institute of Hull is all set to showcase an impressive annual dinner this year thanks to the support of Cascade Cash Management.
This year marks the 104th annual dinner for the institute and Cascade, a company specialising in improving returns on cash savings, was keen to help mark the occasion.
To be held at the Guild Hall on 9th February, 180 members of the institute and their guests, including the Lord Mayor of Hull, will attend the dinner. Part of the national and international Chartered Insurance Institute, the regional members will come from Hull, York and Lincoln, Leeds, West Yorkshire and both sides of the Humber.
Andrew Carrick, president of the organisation, said:
“104 years is a long time for such a prestigious event to be consistently held, so I was keen in my presidency to make sure that it was an event worthy of such of an occasion. Thanks to the support of Cascade Cash Management this year’s committee will be delivering an outstanding event, with excellent key speakers. I would like to thank the managing director Dr. Emma Black for her generosity.”
Cascade Cash Management is an independent and transparent service created to generate enhanced cash returns and increased depositor protection on deposits through professional cash management.
In 2017 the company launched the unique Cascade portal, increasing Emma’s team to eleven and savings administered to date totaling over £600 million. The online portal is the only one of its kind in the UK allowing independent and unbiased cash solutions meaning that clients don’t have to choose only one bank. With the online portal and Cascade’s client support team, all banks are accessed quickly and easily, on a daily basis.
Emma said:
“I hugely admire the work that the institute does, and know that its 450 members are the best of the insurance industry. Because of that I was keen to support the annual dinner. There is synergy between us all, as Cascade works directly with clients, but also works with partners and introducers too, be they IFA’s, fund and wealth managers, solicitors, pension professionals or other advisors including insurance experts.”
On the night, the guests will hear from impressive guest speaker Lucy Beaumont. Originally from Hull, Lucy is now often seen on our TV screens on well-known programmes including Drunk History: UK and Live At The Electric.
The Institute will also be making an award for its best Young Achiever.
Andrew said: “We are very keen to encourage our younger members, and acknowledge the star qualities and hard work they so clearly manifest. This year we have had an excellent nomination.”
