BrewDog is coming to Shaftesbury Avenue
Brewer and bar operator BrewDog is opening a new three-level venue in Seven Dials.
The firm’s new site will occupy 5,100 sq ft at 142 Shaftesbury Avenue and have bars on two floors.
Interiors were designed by BrewDog’s in-house team in collaboration with Glasgow design firm Surface ID.
In addition to its craft beer lineup, which includes brands Dead Pony Club and Jet Black Heart, BrewDog Shaftesbury Avenue will serve a food menu featuring burgers and wings.
Julia Wilkinson, portfolio and group restaurant strategy executive at real estate investment firm Shaftesbury plc, said: “BrewDog’s strong brand and popular beer will be a great fit for such a busy, energetic location.
“This is a highly prominent site situated at the gateway to Seven Dials, adjacent to the recently opened Shake Shack, and a stone’s throw from some of the West End’s most popular theatres.”
She added: “The arrival of the latest Elizabeth Line services in December will bring even more people to the area, with Tottenham Court Road Station being only a short walk away.”
BrewDog retail MD David McDowall commented: “We are thrilled to have secured this site in the heart of the West End amongst some of London’s best theatres, bars and restaurants.
“It is an incredible location and we were keen to be part of Seven Dials.”
He continued: “We look forward to welcoming the local regulars and residents, as well as the tourists that Seven Dials attracts, bringing BrewDog beer to even more people in the capital.”
BrewDog Shaftesbury Avenue is due to open by the end of February.
