Photography and video business creates new jobs with move to West Leeds studio
A Leeds-based photography and video business has completed the acquisition of a new creative content studio.
Powerhouse is set to relocate from its current premises to Rodley House in West Leeds, which will result in the creation of five new jobs.
Established in 1999, Powerhouse currently has 24 employees and clients include leading global brands and retailers within the food, fashion and lifestyle industries.
Neil Adams, Powerhouse managing director, said: “Due to our continuous growth we knew that a move was inevitable and that a relocation wouldn’t be quick.
“The team fully understood our requirements and negotiated a purchase structure which suited our needs”.
Daniel Walker, surveyor at Gent Visick, which advised Powerhouse on the acquisition, added: “We were delighted to acquire such a bespoke building for Powerhouse.
“We knew the search would have its challenges but acquiring Rodley House has enabled them to move seamlessly to only a stone’s throw away.”
Schofield Sweeney acted as commercial lawyers whilst HSBC supported and financed the business in funding the purchase.
