HURST launches Executive Insight programme for entrepreneurs

A programme designed to help entrepreneurs drive growth in their companies is being launched by accounting and business advisory firm HURST. Labour Party grandee Lord David Blunkett and Greater Manchester MP Sir Graham Brady, the influential chairman of the 1922 committee of Conservative backbenchers, will be among the keynote speakers in the first series of Executive Insight, which kicks off in March. Other events will include a tour of Bentley Motors’ factory in Crewe, networking at Chester Races and workshops for companies looking to do business overseas. HURST partners and external contributors will also publish updates on the economic and political environment, new legislation, compliance issues and market trends. As part of the programme, HURST has also assembled a panel of non-executive directors and specialists to support clients with their business strategies. Executive Insight is open to business owners and entrepreneurs across the north west whose companies turn over at least £5m a year. Most events will take place at Lancashire County Cricket Club’s Old Trafford headquarters and will be free to attend. Tim Potter, pictured, chief executive of HURST, said: “We love working with entrepreneurs who have a real passion for what they do. “We are always seeking new ways to help their businesses grow and prosper, and to improve the service and experience we offer to our network. “As such we are delighted to be launching our Executive Insight initiative with a series of premium events featuring high-calibre speakers. “The programme will deliver thought-provoking, inspiring and informative content to help the region’s entrepreneurs drive growth in their businesses.” Entrepreneurs seeking further information or wishing to sign up to the Executive Insight programme should contact Lucy McCormick at HURST via inspired@hurst.co.uk
