Independent Property Consultancy Walton Robinson has appointed new shareholders and a new director. Established in 2001 as a lettings and property management agency in Newcastle city centre, the business has since expanded into sales, investment, development and most recently, serviced apartments and holiday lets.
Richard Ponton, Jaimie Lawton and Mark Smith have all become shareholders in the company with Mark Smith also becoming a director. Mark takes up the role of Operations Director alongside Richard and Jaimie who hold the roles of Investment Director and Valuations Director respectively.
Walton Robinson has also undergone a restructure to combine the lettings and sales arms of the business in order to strengthen the range of services the company can offer with a number of exciting projects in the pipeline.
Mark Walton, Managing Director of Walton Robinson commented; “I’ve worked with Richard and Jaimie since 2001 and Mark since 2008. We have developed and diversified the business making it stronger and more adaptable. Walton Robinson now help clients let, sell, buy, refurbish and develop. We are constantly looking at ways to improve which is what excites us about the day-to-day operations.
“Richard, Jaimie, Mark are instrumental in our future expansion plans and that is why I decided to make them directors and shareholders. It hopefully demonstrates they are valued and reassures them we are working as a team towards a common goal.
“These are exciting times for Walton Robinson and I am delighted Richard, Jaimie and Mark will be joining me along the road ahead.”
