Spreadshirt’s 2018 Premium Collection Features A First for Print-on-Demand Market
London, 20 February 2018, In a first for the print-on-demand sector, on-person self-expression firm Spreadshirt is introducing new patterns to its Premium Collection. The €93m company is expanding from classic cuts and colours to include new blurred-stripe and neppy patterns in 2018.
More ideas are planned for the spring; a dip-dye effect, and a women’s flounce shirt with slightly flared, vintage-style ruffles. Currently, about 30% of all textile products presented on the platform are from the growing Spreadshirt Collection.
The Director of Assortment and Purchasing at Spreadshirt, Christian Patrick Meier, explains, “Our customers and partners want to see exceptional print quality combined with new style trends. This is a real challenge for the market, where classic sporty cuts and colours still dominate.”
He continues, “Our ability to combine the classic with the new is what sets Spreadshirt apart from our competitors in the print-on-demand industry”.
The ladies’ t-shirt with rolled sleeves kick-started this change and has become an absolute favourite with customers in recent years. In 2018 a T-shirt with rolled sleeves and dots in contrasting colours (neppy effect) and a striped crewneck style have been added to the men’s range.
Since its launch in 2013, the Spreadshirt collection has stood for sustainably produced premium products optimised for all types of textile printing. Consistent colours for men, women and children make it easier to design team and group clothing.
