New transport team appointed by Pegasus Group

A dedicated transport team has been specifically created by a leading planning, design, environment and economics consultancy as part of its nationwide strategy for growth.

Pegasus Group has formed the five-strong team to provide a robust transport planning and highway engineering service for clients which complements its existing service.

New appointments were made to create the team, including its Director Anthony Jones and Principal Highways Engineer Mark Blissett, who are joined by Principal Transport Planner James Neville, Senior CAD Technician Spencer Williams and Senior Transport Planner Philip Wragg.

Between them, they bring a wealth of knowledge and experience across a broad range of sectors, including residential, health, education, retail, energy and employment. The new team offers an integrated approach to transport planning, traffic engineering and infrastructure design.

Anthony said: “These are exciting times for the Pegasus Group and we are looking forward to working with new and existing clients, offering support and solutions from initial assessment through to achieving planning consent.

“As a team, we have key objectives - to deliver a transport service that is robust, using best practice and up-to-date policy, technical documents and guidance; to quickly identify the key transport issues, opportunities and constraints and provide cost-effective solutions, and be sympathetic to the requirements of the client, but be honest and realistic in the advice given.”
