The hunt for The Mall Wood Green’s Charity of the Year continues
Haringey residents are being reminded that there is still time to nominate a local charity to become The Mall Wood Green’s Charity of the Year 2018.
The closing date for applications is Friday 2nd January 2018 and any charity in the Haringey borough can be put forward for consideration. The chosen charity not only has the potential to receive a substantial financial donation, but also gets to raise awareness of their cause to the hundreds of thousands of shoppers that flock to The Mall Wood Green every year.
Nominations can be submitted by emailing amp.woodgreen@themall.co.uk, or commenting on the pinned post at the top of the shopping centre’s Facebook page. Nominations must include a brief description about the organisation, and why the charity should be chosen, as well as full contact details including registered charity number*.
The centre management team at The Mall will then collate all nominations and select their chosen finalists. Finalists details will then be announced and the public invited to vote for who they think should become The Mall’s Charity of the Year for 2018.
Isaiah Fapuro, Marketing Manager of The Mall Wood Green, added:
“Over the years we have supported many local causes through our Charity of the Year initiative, and last year alone raised over £4,000 for mental health charity MIND in Haringey. I would encourage all local organisations to get in touch with us to see if we can help.”
*Full terms and conditions are available on The Mall Wood Green’s website.
