North West PR consultancy makes Sunday Times ‘best to work for’ list
PR consultancy Citypress has ranked in the The Sunday Times’ latest 100 Best Small Companies to Work For list.
The firm came 32nd in the 2018 ranking and was the only PR agency featured.
Citypress employs close to 100 staff across offices in Manchester, Liverpool, London, Birmingham and Edinburgh.
The company was awarded three-star Best Company accreditation based on staff feedback covering wellbeing, personal growth and leadership in the workplace.
The Sunday Times benchmarks feedback against responses collected from hundreds of other small companies to compile its top-100 list.
Charles Tattersall, chief exec of Citypress, said: “Our business has doubled in size over the last four years and much of our success is due to investment in our people and creating the best environment for everyone to thrive.
“At the end of last year we made our biggest ever single investment –£750k on IT and a new head office environment – to improve collaboration, enable people to work more flexibly and prepare for future growth.”
He added: “This latest best place to work award is an important step towards Citypress being the employer of choice in our sector and will help us to achieve our growth ambitions.”
This year, 800 businesses entered the competition.
