DOUBLE MILESTONE FOR EARLY BIRDS AT HUYTON DEVELOPMENT
First time buyers Lauren Storey and Jeff Jones rang in the New Year with a double celebration as they prepare to become homeowners at Countryside’s Wilson Chase development in Huyton, whilst also planning their wedding.
Lauren (27) and Jeff (29) were able to achieve both milestones through savvy saving tricks, such as cutting ‘date nights’ down to one a month, and taking advantage of the Government’s Help to Buy scheme, which enables buyers to reserve a home with as little as a 5% deposit.
The pair, who have been living at Lauren’s parents’ home, have reserved a three-bedroom Longford home at the Western Avenue development, which they expect to move into in May - the same month that they’ll be tying the knot!
Lauren commented: “We love the Wilson Chase development and can’t wait to see our finished home. We were able to view a Longford showhome at a nearby show village and we just knew that we had to put a deposit down.”
The Longford home maximises space with an open-plan contemporary kitchen/dining room, which boasts stunning skylights and stylish French doors leading out onto the garden.
“The open-plan area really caught our attention - we fell in love! The room is extremely spacious and there’s even a breakfast bar that breaks it up. It’s great for us because we love to have friends and family round and that’s where people usually socialise.”
Upstairs, there’s three good sized bedrooms and a family bathroom that comes complete with Porcelanosa tiles, vanity units, a heated chrome towel rail, a polished edge mirror and LED downlights, as part of Countryside’s enhanced specification.
Lauren added: “We couldn’t believe the high specification at Countryside, you get so much more for your money and the layout of the homes really maximises space, so you have plenty of room. Everything about the home was perfect for us, plus it’s in an ideal location as we both want to stay in the area. We can’t wait to move into our new home!”
The development is located just one mile from Huyton town centre and, once complete, will comprise 286 three and four-bedroom homes, 257 of those will be available for sale on the open market from £199,995 through a number of home buying initiatives, such as the popular Help to Buy scheme.
Deborah Hughes, Regional Sales and Marketing Director at Countryside, commented: “With showhomes due to launch around Easter, Wilson Chase is already gathering a great deal of interest from not only local families like Lauren and Jeff, but also those looking to move to the area.
“The development was designed with first time buyers and growing families in mind and our quality home designs come with our high specification, which could save buyers £1000s on a variety of home features and essential appliances. Early Birds at Wilson Chase will also receive 5% towards their deposit, paid for by us! Now really is the perfect time to buy.”
