Francis Kirk Group shortlisted in national family business awards

Francis Kirk Group has been shortlisted for the Family Business of the Year Awards 2018 joining William Turner & Son, Qualtex UK Ltd and Arighi Bianch in an impressive line-up of North and Northern Ireland regional finalists.

The awards are run by Family Business United, who work with family businesses and their professional advisers to bring the family business community together.

Nominations for the Family Business of the Year Awards were open until November 30th and came from family firms directly or from the publisher’s network who nominated their favourites.

The regional shortlist was compiled using reviews of websites, companies house and web/PR searches. There will be a regional and overall Supreme Champion identified.

The awards recognise the contribution of family firms of all sizes and sectors, the heritage and values behind the businesses and their involvement in the community.

Managing Director Tom Kirk commented: “This is a great accolade in our 150th year as a fifth generation family business and we look forward to the awards event and meeting other like-minded businesses who share our values and motivations. Please vote for us!”

The overall winners in 2018 will take over from HMG Paints in Manchester, the specialist paint manufacturers from Manchester who were crowned Supreme Champions 2017.

The awards culminate in a champagne and canapé reception at The May Fair Hotel in London on June 7th where shortlisted family firms will be able to network and celebrate together before the awards are presented.
