French manufacturer selects Blackburn for HQ in ‘tremendous vote of confidence’
European manufacturer Prevost is establishing a new base in Lancashire.
The French multinational signed a 10-year lease on a speculatively built unit in Blackburn with consultancy Nolan Redshaw, which acted for commercial property firm Alden Green.
Prevost will use the 15,000 sq ft development, which is still under construction, as its UK headquarters.
Paul Nolan, from Nolan Redshaw, said the deal represents “a tremendous vote of confidence” in the both the scheme and the surrounding area.
He said the development is “becoming very much a landmark scheme”, adding: “There is just one unit remaining from phase one on the site, which is 3,750 sq ft, and we are looking for enquiries for this unit.”
Planning permission is in place for a further 15,000 sq ft and 30,000 sq ft on the site.
