Record turnover for family-owned Floorbrite as sales rise 24%

Cleaning and facilities services provider Floorbrite has announced a record turnover.

The Sale-based company generated more than £15.5m in 2017, an increase of £3m against the year previous.

Over the last four years, Floorbrite has achieved 13%, 15%, 20%, and 24% year-on-year growth.

The family-run firm is now targeting sales of £20m by 2020.

Floorbrite employs more than 1,400 people across the UK, including at sites in Leeds and Birmingham.

Owned and operated by the Wyers family, it continues to enjoy a 25-year relationship with real estate services giant CBRE and contracts with JD Sports, Boohoo.com, St John’s Ambulance and Urban Splash, among other organisations in the North West and elsewhere.

Floorbrite’s joint MD, Nik Wyers, said: “We’ve always believed that if we’re going to do something, we have to do it well but more importantly – we’ve never been afraid to fail.

“The key to growing a business is to take calculated risks, which is exactly what we’ve done over the past seven years and thankfully the risks have paid off and we’re in a position to announce record turnover figures for 2017.”

He continued: “Our plans for the next 12 months are to continue grow our portfolio and saturation across the UK. The facilities market is incredibly buoyant at the moment and we’re pleased to be able to offer clients, both new and old, a vast array of high quality services through our own channels and close team of partners.”
