Leeds architecture firm announces office relocation in the capital
DarntonB3, the Leeds-based architecture firm, has relocated its London office to Southwark.
The new office will house the firm’s existing London-based employees and provide room for further expansion.
Previously located on the 3rd floor of a shared office block in Clerkenwell, the new location is exclusive to DarntonB3 and offers greater visibility for the London branch of the firm; sited at ground level with a floor to ceiling height glass front to the building provides the opportunity for a ‘shop window’ that will be used to showcase the architects practice and its designs.
The ground floor will feature a reception, conference room and staff facilities, whilst the design studio will be situated on the upper level of the building.
Ciara Ryan, DarntonB3 director who is responsible for the southern business unit, said: “We are really pleased to move south of the river and to be part of the creative quarter of Tate Modern, Newport Street Gallery and the newly refurbished Garden Museum.
“We design a lot of buildings and interiors in central London and it is great to be given the opportunity to be situated close to our “live” sites.
“We are currently on site with luxury apartments in Golden Square, just off Piccadilly, and our new location is within walking distance. We are also busy in retail, hospitality and commercial sectors and look forward to many more happy years adding to the London skyline and to supporting our clients further afield with the help of our interoffice colleagues.”
The London office is one of 7 DarntonB3 offices throughout the UK.
Headquartered in Leeds, further locations include Cardiff, Aberystwyth, Loughborough, Manchester and Glasgow.
