Machester's e3creative Launches Website for Angry Bird Developers
Manchester digital agency e3creative has teamed up with Outplay Entertainment, the UK’s largest independent mobile games studio, to launch a fresh website that reveals their new branding.
Based in Dundee, Outplay Entertainment collaboratively developed the famously popular Angry Birds and releases free-to-play games that are enjoyed by millions worldwide including Candy Craft, Mystery Match, among others. The President of Outplay Entertainment, Richard Hare, explains the recently launched website incorporates elements of ‘limitless fun’ to reflect their transformative rebrand.
“Our new visual identity captures the spirit of the business and is uplifting, approachable and authentic. It also guarantees heightened visibility to ensure we continue to thrive in an ever-evolving games industry. From the very start, our goal for Outplay Entertainment was to be associated with fun - and fun is different for every single one of us. Our focus going into 2018 and beyond, is to better understand what this means for all of our players globally. We want gamers to recognise our brand, our titles, and feel connected with our studio.”
Hare further adds, the original Outplay Entertainment brand identity was conceived before the studio opened 7 years ago and since then, the business has grown enormously. Last year Outplay Entertainment was ranked the fastest-growing Scottish tech company by the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 and report a 1,904% increase in revenue since 2013.
Outplay Entertainment’s new website is a key part of the brand’s new positioning, acting as a gateway for them to communicate on a global stage as the Founder of e3creative, Jake Welsh, mentions.
“Our teams embraced the opportunity to join hands with Outplay Entertainment during this pivotal point in their business and crafted a polished web platform to resemble their outstanding games studio. The website incorporates interactive character-rich animations, simple user-journeys and digestible content from emergent career openings, to brand messages, player support-guides, and beyond.”
