Boutique County Durham venue to host wedding showcase
A historic County Durham venue is set to welcome brides and grooms-to-be to a special wedding showcase. The Manor House in Sedgefield will be opening its doors on Saturday 10 March to give couples the chance to plan their special day in the Grade II listed building, one of the newest wedding venues in the region.
The venue’s striking Georgian Grand Reception Hall and the unique Old Court Room, once a working magistrates’ court, will be dressed to perfection in a variety of elegant styles, to help guests choose their own wedding theme and individual touches. The Manor House’s expert wedding coordinators will be on hand to answer guests’ questions, offer guidance and to check available dates over a glass of fizz and canapes.
Marie Walker, events manager for Manor House 1707 Ltd, comments: “The showcase will be a perfect opportunity for couples to view the North East’s newest boutique wedding venue at its most elegant. Our enthusiastic and events team will be on hand to help guests start planning every detail of their big day and they will also be able to meet with Special Events North East who will dress their room to perfection.
“The Manor House is a new ‘hidden-gem’ wedding venue which offers completely exclusive use. We host a limited number of weddings each year, so each wedding is guaranteed to be extra special for us and brides and grooms can expect a fully bespoke experience.”
The Manor House caters for a wide range of needs; whether it’s a ceremony only, a reception after a local wedding, or a full package including ceremony, drinks reception, wedding breakfast and evening reception.
The showcase will be held from 11:00am to 2:00pm and entry is free of charge. No appointment is necessary, however those who register their interest in attending in advance at www.manorhousesedgefield.co.uk/weddings-mailing-list will received a special wedding gift on arrival.
