Clipper Logistics signs new five-year contract with e-commerce platform LoveCrafts
Clipper Logistics Plc, the Leeds-based logistics solutions provider, has signed a new contract with LoveCrafts, an e-commerce platform, specialising in products and accessories for the wool crafts market.
The new 5-year deal renews an existing partnership and will see operations move from Clipper’s Worsley facility to its larger site in Selby.
Clipper, which first began working with LoveCrafts in 2013, has helped to fine-tune the e-commerce platform’s supply chain and logistics operations.
Tony Mannix, chief executive at Clipper, said: “We’re thrilled to be continuing our work with LoveCrafts.
“We’re looking forward to further develop their logistics solutions and supporting the growth of the business from our Selby site, where they’ll benefit from increased warehouse space, improved layout, smarter WMS and voice picking, to ensure more efficient and effective working.”
Anne Bruggink, chief customer operations officer at LoveCrafts, commented: “Clipper have been great in helping ensure we have an effective solution in place. Over the past five years, they’ve been instrumental in our efforts to build the business and develop the services we provide for our customers.
“LoveCrafts is a rapidly growing business and we have no doubt that Clipper are the right partner to cope with this increasing demand, and have the expertise, ability and agility to help us continue delivering a brilliant service.”
To support LoveCrafts’ further growth plans, operations will now be run from the Selby site, where the Clipper team will process inbound stock, pick for next day and standard delivery and process international returns, as well as holding over a million units of stock.
