Dubai group plots expansion into UK with new Knightsbridge restaurant

Leisure operator Caramel Group has confirmed plans for a new restaurant and lounge in London.

The Dubai-headquartered company’s latest site, coming to Brompton Road in the Knightsbridge area, will have 120 covers and offer a menu of internationally inspired food and drink.

Caramel London will be open throughout the day, including for breakfast, brunch and afternoon tea.

Mohammed Al Hashimi, the founder and owner of Caramel Group, said: “The Caramel restaurant and lounge concept has proved overwhelmingly popular internationally and I’m confident that the stylish and upmarket brand will fit in very well in Knightsbridge.

“Each individual site is unique and we tailor them to the locations that each of the restaurant lounges is situated in.”

He continued: “At the London site, for example, we’ve added in an afternoon tea to our offering, providing Londoners and tourists alike with an unrivalled all day food and drink offering in a stunning setting.”

Caramel London will launch at the end of March, joining an international portfolio that includes restaurants, bars and cafes in the UAE and Oman.
