Liverpool’s upcoming Adventure Dock aqua park to create 20 jobs
Water sports business Industry Wake is recruiting lifeguards to run its upcoming waterfront attraction in Liverpool.
The company confirmed plans to create 20 jobs ahead of opening The Adventure Dock Co in May.
Industry Wake said potential new recruits will need team skills and a pool or beach lifeguard qualification, along with experience in customer-facing roles.
Other desired skills and qualifications include first aid training, a DBS certificate and a safeguarding certificate.
Due to open at Duke’s Dock, located between Albert Dock and King’s Dock, the attraction will feature a 92m obstacle course comprising more than 50 joined-up inflatable obstacles, free-fall slides, rafts and barriers.
It represents a £200k investment for Holmes Chapel-based Industry Wake.
Tim Woodhead, creator of The Adventure Dock, commented: “We are looking to recruit approx. 20 fun-loving but enthusiastic people to work as aqua guides this summer.
“For anyone who loves water, likes being active and is looking for a job that goes beyond the 9-5, this could be the perfect opportunity.”
He continued: “We are currently a small but dedicated team and we want to make some life-long memories for both the customers and the staff.
“We are already busy with enquiries so we would love to hear from anyone who is up for the challenge to get the summer started now.”
The Adventure Dock Co will operate from May to October.
