Greenlight for 190,000 sq ft expansion of Cheshire’s MA6NITUDE logistics park
Developers have received the greenlight for a 190,000 sq ft industrial and distribution scheme in Cheshire.
DBS Pochin, a joint venture between property firm db symmetry and building company Pochin’s Ltd, received planning approval from Cheshire East Council for the development.
Located at its flagship MA6NITUDE logistics park in Middlewich, the speculative scheme will comprise two single-occupancy units of 149,000 and 41,000 sq ft.
DBS Pochin developed the plans in partnership with How Planning and AEW Architects.
The project is part of phase one of the joint venture’s plans for the 1.75 million sq ft MA6NITUDE site.
MA6NITUDE director Dan Burn said: “With the approval of this scheme, we’re in a position to meet two key areas of demand in the market.
“The larger unit will cater for the wider regional logistics market, while the smaller unit will meet localised demand – and we’re already having strong conversations on both fronts.”
He added: “With the site’s exceptional links to both national transport infrastructure and the North’s key regions, this development is an exciting prospect for logistics and distribution businesses looking for an accessible base in the region.”
Agents on the scheme are Savills, B8RE and Legat Owen.
