10 new jobs to be created as York waste management firm on track for record £8.5m turnover
BusinessWaste.co.uk, a York-based waste management and recycling company, is on track to reach a turnover target of £8.5m in 2018, after securing a number of new commercial contracts.
Launched in 2015, the company employs 45 people at its Artemis House premises in Heworth Green.
BusinessWaste.co.uk is also planning to create an additional ten jobs in 2018.
The company has appointed accountancy firm Garbutt + Elliott to provide payroll, accountancy services and business planning advice.
David Adams, BusinessWaste.co.uk managing director, said: “Since launching our business we have gone from strength-to-strength and we are looking ahead to continued success in 2018.
“We are projecting significant turnover growth this year and are looking to expand our headcount to 55 to meet the increasing demand for our services.

BusinessWaste.co.uk provides waste management, disposal and recycling services to the hospitality, healthcare, manufacturing and financial services sectors throughout the UK.
The company’s clients include BBC, Britannia Hotels, Islington Council, We Buy Any Car, Deliveroo and Waitrose.
