Crutch Haringey announced as The Mall Wood Green’s charity partner
The Mall Wood Green is delighted to announce that Crutch Haringey has been selected as the community shopping centre’s ‘Charity of the Year’ for 2018.
Crutch Haringey is a citizens advice project which offers practical support for residents struggling to provide essentials for themselves and their families including food, clothing and shelter. The charity supports individuals and communities by offering advice and practical help for people in the Haringey borough.
The Mall will be hosting a number of activities, events and campaigns with Crutch Haringey throughout 2018 to raise vital funds for the charity’s ongoing work.
Isaiah Fapuro, Marketing Manager of The Mall Wood Green, commented:
“We are thrilled to announce Crutch Haringey as our 2018 ‘Charity of the Year’. The charity provides a wonderful service for the borough’s residents. We will work closely with the Crutch Haringey Team throughout the year to help promote their fantastic support facilities and, most importantly, help them raise vital funds so their services can continue to be used by locals in and around our area.”
Dean Wigzell, Team leader of Crutch Haringey, added: “It’s a huge help for us, to be selected as The Mall’s Charity of the year. As a small but well needed resource, to be supported by a Borough landmark is fantastic. Hopefully the funds raised by the Mall will convert in to helping people who really need the support, and the exposure will bring awareness to our cause as well.”
