Taylor&Emmet team limbers up for namesake 10K
Sporty solicitors from Taylor&Emmet LLP are putting their mouth where their money is and taking to the streets of Dronfield for this weekend’s annual 10K, sponsored by the firm.
Nine members of the team will be lining up alongside the thousands of hardy runners taking part in the 2018 Taylor&Emmet Dronfield 10K on Sunday (March 18).
The group comprises members of the firm’s Sheffield city centre, Ecclesall Road and Dronfield offices, with various levels of experience and ability. For legal assistant, Gabriella Lathbury, it will be her inaugural race event, but she will be supported by more experienced colleagues, including probate partner, Chaanah Patton, who is returning to running after a break of several years.
This is Taylor&Emmet’s first year as main sponsor of the Dronfield 10K and its support forms part of an increased commitment to the town, following investment in larger premises, which opened in October. Since then, the office has expanded considerably, including new probate and conveyancing teams, plus the first family law specialist to be based locally.
Sarah Gaunt, head of Taylor&Emmet’s Dronfield office, will be one of those taking part in the 10K. She said: “We are excited to associated with such a high-profile community event and it is a pleasure to be participating alongside my friends and colleagues. On behalf of everyone at the firm, I wish all those lining up alongside us on Sunday the best of luck – I’ll see you at the finish line!”
Taylor&Emmet is inviting participants in the Dronfield 10K to submit their reasons for running for a chance to win a £100 Amazon voucher. For more information, telephone (0114) 218 4000, visit www.tayloremmet.co.uk/10K or follow the firm on Twitter, @tayloremmet.
