TIS Launch New Fire Division

In light of the recent incidents involving catastrophic fires within public buildings, Nottinghamshire based Fire and Security Experts TIS are pleased to announce the formation of their exclusive Fire Division which will be headed by industry recognised and acknowledged professionals.

With TIS specialising in fire alarm and detection systems they have launched their new Fire Division to provide their customers with a more personal and comprehensive service.

Recognised for being instrumental in a technological revolution, TIS were awarded the Combined Security and Fire Solution of the Year award at the Security & Fire Excellence Awards in 2016.

The division is headed by Chris Mills, Head of Fire Division and able assisted by Paul Costello, Operations Manager – Fire Division. They will be responsible for ensuring fire alarm compliance to all of their customers. With over 50 years, certificated, combined experience between Chris and Paul, they are sure to deliver a premium service with their vast knowledge and skill in the field.

Chris was responsible for TIS’s application for approval under the BAFE SP203-1 in March 2012 and TIS were successfully accepted on 7th March 2013. The company are competent and certified under the SP203-1 scheme in the design, installation, Commissioning/Handover & Maintenance of Fire Detection & Alarm Systems and will be looking at adding Fire Risk Assessments in the near future.

To help highlight the new division TIS will be launching a new Fire Division page on their website to showcase services, compliancy, accreditations etc. It will be aimed at everyone from consultants to end users to assist them from the research stage through to assisting with decision making.
