Peppa Pig visits Telford
Telford fans of the pre-school phenomenon Peppa Pig, as seen on Channel Five’s Milkshake and Nick Jr., will have the chance to see two of their favourite cheeky piggies this month.
Peppa Pig and her little brother George will be taking time out from their favourite past time – jumping in muddy puddles – to trot along to The Telford Centre on Wednesday 11th April for special story time sessions.
Fans of the animated series will be able to see the loveable pigs during story time sessions, led by a narrator in Sherwood Square, next to Debenhams, at intervals between 11am and 3.30pm.
Katie Broome, marketing manager at The Telford Centre, said: “We are thrilled to be welcoming Peppa Pig and her brother George to Telford, I’m confident that their visit will prove a massive success with Shropshire families.
“We know how popular the characters are with children, so having both Peppa and George in the Centre is going to be a very exciting day for all.”
Story time sessions will take place at 11am, 12noon, 1.30pm, 2.30pm and 3.30pm. Families are being advised to arrive early to avoid disappointment.
As well as storytelling with Peppa Pig & George, the centre will host its monthly Leapfrog Club event on Saturday 31st March, where youngsters can decorate egg cups and bunny masks to take home.
Visitors are also invited to join in with a range of fun pig themed activities on Thursday 12th April, on Sherwood Square, between 11am – 4pm, designed to help keep kids busy over the Easter Holiday.
