Fox Street Village, being brought forward by developer Lin Mari Group, is located on Fox Street which is on the edge of Liverpool city centre. There are set to be 400 high-specification residential apartments - with a wide range of one, two and three bedrooms available - as the property firm aims to drive the urban renaissance of an area that once part of Liverpool’s ‘slum clearance’ programme.
The impressive scheme, which has a gross development value of £30 million, has created 250 local construction jobs - providing a real boost to the city’s economy. Bosses on the construction site have also provided 20 apprenticeship opportunities for young people.
The residential living scheme has attracted investors from around the world and Lin Mari says 98% of the development has already been sold.
In what is set to breathe new life into the local community, development chiefs hope Fox Street Village will play its part in transforming the area’s fortunes.
Speaking about the scheme, Lin Mari Group’s Director, Gary Howard, said:
“We believe that Fox Street Village will help give North Liverpool a new purpose. It is a prestigious development that will unlock the area’s economic potential and become a destination in its own right. With the scheme sitting on the edge of the city centre, the residential apartments will hopefully form part of a community which people can be proud of.”
