Manchester’s BCM becomes Patrick Parsons after joining North East group

North West building design firm BCM will trade as Patrick Parsons from today (March 28).

The Manchester-based company rebranded after being acquired last May by multi-disciplinary consulting engineers Patrick Parsons.

BCM said it has expanded its services since joining the Newcastle-headquartered group to include structural, civil, and geoenvironmental engineering, as well as planning support, building consultancy and asbestos management.

Brian Morris, founder of BCM, said: “I am delighted that the merge of BCM and Patrick Parsons is now complete.

“United by a common business culture, our alliance with Patrick Parsons has enabled us to enhance our offer to clients as well as facilitating growth and extending our coverage nationally and internationally.”

Peter Stienlet, Patrick Parsons’ managing director, commented: “The rebrand marks the celebration of a very successful partnership with BCM and an exciting step in our plans for growth in the North West.

“Our focus is to maintain the quality and delivery of BCM’s service, which is the foundation for the firm’s excellent reputation in the industry.”

Outside its Newcastle HQ, Patrick Parsons has seven offices in the UK and two overseas.
