Production equipment firm expands at The Sharp Project
Production equipment business Pro Motion is expanding its presence at The Sharp Project in Manchester.
The company, which moved into the digital hub in 2015, has completed its relocation from a small office to a studio that will enable it to take on bigger contracts.
Pro Motion’s new space includes a direct entrance for loading and a dedicated break-out area for camera tests and training.
The firm announced a raft of promotions and appointments alongside the move. Jessica Lolliot, who launched the Manchester base alongside Alain Lolliot, is now commercial director of the group, while Danny Newton has been appointed for the role of Manchester Bookings Manager.
Jessica Lolliot said: “We’re really proud of the work we have achieved since our move to Manchester. The Sharp Project has been a great location for us and we were immediately drawn to the creative atmosphere; and excited to collaborate with tenants straight away.
“We’re thrilled that The Sharp Project was able to find us a unique space that allowed us to remain a part of this vibrant community whilst being able to facilitate larger projects, training and camera tests.”
Pro Motion has worked on a number of TV programmes since setting up at The Sharp Project, including The Secret Life of the Zoo on Channel 4, BBC’s Class Dismissed and MTV show Teen Mom.
Sharp Project commercial director Rob Page commented: “Pro Motion is very fitting to the ethos of The Sharp Project – the work they do is really exciting and it’s great to be able to talk about all the amazing projects they have been a part of.
“Their expansion adds to the success of The Sharp Project and the highlights the room we have for growth and development for all our tenants.”
Founded in London 13 years ago, Pro Motion today operates from a network of four offices.
