Bromley-based construction firm set to break £1m-turnover barrier
Oakmore Builders is on track to achieve a £1m turnover for the first time.
The Bromley-based construction firm, founded three years ago, is expecting to more than double its £400k turnover by the end of its current tax year.
Oakmore is also due to grow its 10-strong workforce in the coming months, with plans to take on at least four apprentices.
The company, which operates across South East London, was established by entrepreneur Lee Summers.
Managing director Lee, who has over 30 years’ construction industry experience after leaving school at 15 for an apprenticeship, said: “It has been a fantastic three years for the company as we have experienced strong growth that sets us up for further expansion.
“As a former apprentice, I am committed to getting young people’s foot on the career ladder, and it is an exciting time for Oakmore as we prepare to welcome our first tranche of apprentices to the company, over the next 12 months.”
He continued: “We have grown to become one of the leading building companies operating throughout Bromley and I am hoping to continue this positivity, with further growth and investing in the creation of new jobs.”
Oakmore focuses on home extension projects, luxury kitchens and bathrooms but covers all major building services.
