Fast-growing Huddersfield cloud accounting firm shortlisted for prestigious industry award
A rapidly expanding Huddersfield accountancy firm has been shortlisted for a prestigious industry award.
My Management Accountant has been shortlisted for the Independent Firm of the Year Award in the inaugural Yorkshire Accountancy Awards
Created by the organisers of the hugely successful Yorkshire Legal Awards, the Yorkshire Accountancy Awards will celebrate the achievements and successes of the region’s small independent, mid-tier and large accountancy firms whilst also offering a wide range of individual and team awards.
Based in the Media Centre, Huddersfield, My Management Accountant specialises in cloud-based accounting services, from year-end accounts, tax returns and payroll through to management accounts and finance director support.
Established by accountant Martin Bown, the firm has experienced continuous 50% annual revenue growth since 2013 and now employs 10 members of staff.
It is currently recruiting for a further two roles, after having recently merged with North Leeds accountancy business Chartered Financial Direction (CFD).
Speaking about the shortlisting, founder and managing director Martin says: “Being on the shortlist for this award is testament to the hard work and dedication of all the team. We have all worked incredibly hard to build My Management Accountant into one of Huddersfield’s leading agencies.
“The nomination is fantastic external recognition for the team to complement the regular excellent feedback they receive from our clients.”
The Yorkshire Accountancy award winners will be announced at a ceremony on Thursday 10 May 2018 at New Dock Hall in Leeds.
