Nomensa UX superstar listed on BIMA 100
International UX design agency, Nomensa, is celebrating the inclusion of UX Manager, Vicky Brown, on the British Interactive Media Association’s (BIMA) 100 list, where she has been recognised in the UX & Design Stars category.
With the list recently announced, the BIMA 100 looks to recognise and celebrate the best talent in the UK’s digital industry, with the ceremony set to take place on 9 May at the Ham Yard Hotel. Renowned for nurturing its in-house talent, this is not the first time that a member of the Nomensa team has featured in the list, having seen Developer Emily Coward listed in 2016.
Vicky joined strategic UX design agency, Nomensa as a UX consultant following her graduation from Exeter University in 2013, and she has come a significant way in just five years. Now, aged just 26, Vicky is Senior Consultant and UX Manager, leading the UX team at Nomensa in the delivery of client work. She has been recognised both internally and externally through industry awards, as a crucial part of the driving force behind Nomensa’s ground-breaking work.
Simon Norris, Founder and CEO of Nomensa, said: “I’m thrilled to see Vicky achieve this incredible accolade which is a testament to all her hard work. I foresee her achieving even greater things across the course of her career, of which we believe will be a long and prosperous one. We have already seen her excel in her roles, working collaboratively with her team and clients to deliver world-class projects.
“We are honoured to have such brilliant minds and talented creators at Nomensa and supporting and nurturing them is at the heart of what we do. We have a team of over 100 exceptional individuals across our three office locations and Vicky is a prime example of the passionate, dedicated and forward-thinking people that make up Nomensa across the globe.”
Speaking of her inclusion, Vicky said: “I’m honoured to be recognised in such a highly acclaimed industry list. I’m passionate about the work we do at Nomensa and consider myself lucky to work on high profile clients such as the Eden Project, the National Trust and Innovate UK. To be acknowledged for the role I’ve played in delivering for these clients and leading a team of UX consultants here at Nomensa is fantastic.
Vicky has been recognised as one of the strategic and forward-thinking individuals behind Nomensa’s ground-breaking work for national and international clients such as National Trust, Gatwick Airport, the Eden Project, Unite Students and Innovate UK.
