Taylor&Emmet makes five star promotions

Sheffield’s Taylor&Emmet LLP is kicking off the new financial year with a raft of promotions, recognising the established and emerging talent across its personal legal services teams.

The firm is adding a new member to its partnership and promoting four solicitors to associate.

Residential conveyancing specialist and head of Taylor&Emmet’s Dronfield branch, Sarah Gaunt, has become an equity partner, to acknowledge the significant contribution she has made to the firm since joining as a trainee in 1998. She also runs her department’s new homes section and works with a number of housing associations.

Two probate solicitors, Simon Eyre-Wood and Ben Brown, have achieved associate status, along with Camilla Attwood and John Green from the firm’s clinical negligence and personal injury teams respectively. All four enjoy excellent reputations within their specialist fields and are highly regarded by clients and colleagues alike.

Anthony Long, Taylor&Emmet’s chief executive, said: “I would like to congratulate Sarah and our four new associates on their promotions. Without exception, they are thoroughly well deserved, as they represent some of our brightest, most talented solicitors. They have proved themselves to be very able and most importantly, focused on achieving the best possible results for clients.”
