New website and app for Spinningfields-based dining deals platform
A new online platform is looking to support North West restaurants while helping diners in the region save money.
Dining deals website TableNow.co.uk has relaunched its website and introduced a new app as part of a six-figure investment.
The Spinningfields-based company will spend £250k on marketing its digital offering in 2018.
TableNow.co.uk was set up to help restaurants weather the challenging business climate, with many attempting to balance empty tables with rising overheads and staff wages.
The platform aims to give participating venues complete control over their inventory, deals and availability.
The TableNow.co.uk team has negotiated deals and discounts of up to 50% off at over 300 independent restaurants and chains throughout the North West, including in Manchester, Liverpool, Preston and Southport.
TableNow.co.uk’s £250k marketing efforts will include a radio campaign voiced by MasterChef judge Gregg Wallace, who will promote the booking service and its lineup of partner restaurants to over three million diners in the North West.
The website and app offer diners a pay-as-you-use model, with no sign-up fees or monthly subscriptions.
Tom Sumner, who heads up the company, said: “The North West now has more restaurants than ever before, so diners really are spoilt for choice. However, this brings particular challenges for restaurants which struggle to fill tables during quiet periods.
“Our unique technology is designed to genuinely benefit North West restaurants in ensuring they achieve as many covers as possible, every single night of the week, while simultaneously offering fantastic deals to diners who are keen to experience new restaurants, but might usually find them out of their price range.”
He added: “Over the coming months, we will be working closely with restaurants to ensure the platform is giving them exactly what they need in order to enjoy our easy-to-administer service, coupled with increasing revenue as they see their bookings increase.”
