Merseyside’s Image Business Park acquired for £3.5m
Image Business Park in Merseyside has changed hands in a £3.5m deal.
Knowsley Image Business Park Ltd, an associate of development and investment firm Seybourne Estates, acquired the scheme from Acorn Developments (Kirkby) Limited, a subsidiary of property company IPP.
Image Business Park spans 38 acres and provides 400,000 sq ft of office, warehouse and industrial space, with tenants including Surface Transforms, Ames Goldsmith and Future Industrial Services.
It is located on Knowsley Business Park, which is home to more than 3,700 businesses and makes up the North West’s second biggest industrial area.
Following the acquisition, Seybourne Estates will undertake selective development to expand the site by 15 acres. The space, suitable for industrial or warehousing, will be delivered on a build-to-suit basis across units ranging from 50 to 250,000 sq ft.
Commercial estate agency LM6 acted for Knowsley Image Business Park Ltd and Seybourne Estates in the deal. Property consultants Keppie Massie represented Acorn Developments.
LM6’s Phil Morley said: “We are seeing renewed interest across The Liverpool City Region from investors and developers and this purchase is a ringing endorsement of the Park and the latent potential of the wider City Region.”
LM6 has been retained to secure occupiers for new development.
