Merthyr Community Fund giving away an away day!
Following the relaunch of St Tydfil Shopping Centre’s St Tydfil Cares Community Fund at the beginning of the year, the centre is once again giving away £200 worth of vouchers, but this time to use at Edwards Coaches.
Whether a community group would like to use the vouchers towards the hire of transport, a care home would like to give residents a day out, or a charity would like to reward its volunteers with a trip, St Tydfil Shopping Centre is asking groups in the Merthyr area to nominate themselves to receive the vouchers.
From all the nominations received, the shopping centre will choose three groups as finalists, then the local community will be asked to vote for who they would like to receive the vouchers. Voting will be done by email, or via the shopping centre’s Facebook page.
Julie Calderbank, Operations Manager at St Tydfil Shopping Centre, commented: “Our St Tydfil Cares Community Fund is our way of giving something back to groups in the local area and we look forward to learning how they would like to use the vouchers for Edwards Coaches.”
Groups can nominate themselves by contacting St Tydfil Shopping Centre and explaining how the vouchers will be used. Nominations can be made by emailing StTydfil@pmwcom.co.uk or by sending a letter to St Tydfil Cares Community Fund, c/o PMW Communications, PO Box 167, Bideford, Devon, EX39 9DU. The closing date for nominations is Sunday 29th April.
Throughout the year, future call outs will invite clubs that support children through the school summer holidays to apply for vouchers from The Works, and schools and nurseries to apply for Wilko vouchers.
Full Terms & Conditions are available on St Tydfil Shopping Centre’s website.
