Langleys Solicitors advises on Authetique wine bar and deli in London

York’s Langleys Solicitors has advised on a 12-year lease for a new wine bar and deli in Tufnell Park, London.

Authentique Bar & Epicerie opened in March on Fortress Road.

Entrepreneur Alex Bal and three colleagues established the new venture, which has seen a former convenience store converted to provide a deli selling wines, beers, cheese and charcuterie.

The bar offers wines by the glass from a different region of France each month.

Alex, who works in the wine trade, said: “Our bar and deli is in the perfect location and has enabled us to provide a distinct shop and bar area. We see Authentique as a great venue for education and the sharing of good wine and food.”

Alex is joined in the business by Matthieu Sevagen, Amaury Levisalles and Thomas Guidez. They have invested £300k in the wine bar and deli which is run by Matthieu and Amaury.

Rachel Witherick, solicitor with York and Lincoln-based Langleys’ commercial property team, added: “We are very pleased to support the Authentique team in their new enterprise which is a great addition to the food offer on Fortress Road.”
