Emirates Old Trafford signs supplier deal with Caffè Nero’s Aroma brand
Emirates Old Trafford has signed a deal to make Aroma its official coffee supplier.
From June, Aroma coffee will be served across all meetings, conferences and events at the venue, home of Lancashire Cricket Club.
Aroma products will also be served within the ground’s cricket hospitality areas and throughout the Hilton Garden Inn hotel.
The Italian brand is part of The Nero Roasting Company, which launched a Caffè Nero at the venue in February.
Anthony Mundy, operations director at Lancashire Cricket Club, said: “We’re thrilled to welcome Aroma into the Emirates Old Trafford family.
“As a venue, we’re constantly looking at ways in which we can improve our guests’ experience, whether that be for business or leisure, and it’s been great to see delegates enjoying the new coffee this week.”
He continued: “We have a fantastic relationship with The Nero Roasting Company, which has soared in recent months with the success of our new Caffè Nero store, and we’re looking forward to continuing this in the future.”
Alan Reeve, Aroma business manager, commented: “Caffè Nero was delighted to get the opportunity to open a store at Emirates Old Trafford, and we’re now really excited to launch the Aroma brand too.
“For us, Lancashire Cricket is leading the way with its approach to coffee quality throughout the entire stadium.”
He added: “The requirement to have a great tasting coffee at every turn, and their desire to use fully compostable cups made this an opportunity for us that we embraced with open arms.”
