Scottish expansion for Newcastle’s Explain Market Research
Research agency Explain Market Research has expanded its presence in Scotland.
A raft of new client wins have given the Newcastle-based company a boost north of the border, including briefs with utilities firms Scottish Water and SGN.
The contracts build on Explain’s existing work in Scotland with SSE and SP Energy Networks.
With SP Energy Networks, the firm undertook business planning research including customer and stakeholder engagement.
In working with Scottish Water and SGN, Explain will aim to provide actionable insights to inform strategic decision-making.
Kim Davis, the firm’s managing director, said: “Expanding into Scotland and beginning work with Scottish Water and SGN is a fantastic achievement for the agency, illustrating our experience as a North East business successfully delivering projects across the UK, from Fort William to Southern England.
“The two new client wins come at the end of our best year yet at the agency, contributing to our growth and forecast success in the year ahead.”
She continued: “The team prides itself on our collaborative partnership approach to relationships with clients and on our relationships with key organisations in the utility sector such as Northumbrian Water Group which spans over two decades.
“We are looking forward to developing our relationship with the new clients and expanding our portfolio of clients in Scotland.”
