Wasserman sign leading Dutch golfer Joost Luiten
The Netherlands’ number one golfer Joost Luiten has signed with Wasserman. The 32 year old Olympian is currently ranked 75 on the OWGR following his win at the NBO Oman Open earlier this season. That win marked his sixth career European Tour victory.
Joost will be managed by Wasserman’s London office, but in close collaboration with the company’s Netherlands office, who have strong commercial partnerships and manage some of the biggest football stars in the country including Dirk Kuyt and Ronald Koeman. Luiten will be managed by Ian Keenan, director, golf, EMEA at Wasserman.
Brendan Taylor, executive vice president, head of golf EMEA, commented: “Joost is a proven winner on the European Tour and we are delighted to have him join Wasserman. He is a great fit for the company culturally and the synergy with our Netherland’s office will provide an all-round exciting solution to Joost’s management needs”.
Keenan also comments: “Joost’s tour record speaks for itself. He is extremely hard working and leaves no stone unturned in his quest to be the best golfer he can be. I firmly believe his best golf is still ahead of him”.
Luiten joins Wasserman’s existing European Tour golf clients including Ryder Cup player Andy Sullivan and multiple winners Bernd Wiesberger, Shubanker Sharma, Brandon Stone and Haydn Porteous.
