Gateshead to receive new indoor trampoline park for families
A 40,000 sq ft adventure park will open its doors on Friday May 4 in Gateshead.
The Jump Giants venue in Dunston features dodgems, a soft play area for children aged five and under as well as wall-to-wall trampolines.
The opening of this £1m centre will be marked with a launch party which can be attended by local schools, clubs and families.
Julian Henton, Jump Giants’ co-founder, said: “We’re passionate about people of all ages and abilities coming together to have fun, and we’re constantly looking at new ways to surprise and delight people.
“Gateshead is the first of our parks to feature dodgems, and you don’t have to be an aspiring Lewis Hamilton to enjoy them. At the other end of the spectrum is our soft play area for children under five years old where little ones can scale new heights.”
The soft play area is included in the cafe, which includes an area for babies, too.
The park features interconnected green and purple angled trampolines, and replaces the F1K indoor go-karting centre which formerly occupied the space.
The park costs £11 per person from three years and up.
