Cirrus Inns have three county winners nominated for the National Pub and Bar Awards 2018

Cirrus Inns are delighted to announce that three of their inns are the County Winners of the National Pub and Bar Awards, recognised as some of the finest examples currently operating in the United Kingdom’s cities, towns and villages.

Adam Black, Head of Marketing at Cirrus inns, said: “As part of our dedication to celebrating the British countryside, each of our inns commits itself to using the highest quality British produce from local suppliers. Therefore, to have three inns in the collection announced as County Winners this year is a fantastic win for great British produce.”

The King’s Head in Hursley wins the award in Hampshire for the third year in a row, The White Horse at Chilgrove wins in West Sussex for a second year in a row and The Lion Inn at Winchcombe has been selected in Gloucestershire. The pubs have been selected on overall best practice across a number of operational categories.

The National Pub & Bar Awards has announced the best pubs and bars from each county across the United Kingdom. In total, 94 venues from England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland have been selected as the best in their county and will now make their way to the National Pub & Bar Awards grand finale at BAFTA in London on Wednesday 23 May. At the grand final 15 regional winners will be announced as well as the esteemed accolade – the overall National Pub and Bar of the Year.

The 2018 County Winners have been selected around multiple marks of quality, assessing every element that goes into making a hospitality experience truly excellent.

Each pub fulfils each criterion to the very highest standard. The food is locally sourced to the highest standard with its excellent range of guest ales complimenting their meals perfectly. Not to mention the superb team members across each pub, who pride themselves in great service each day. With all of this paired with each of their most unique assets, it is clear as to why they have been awarded the title of best pub in in their county.
