First look inside newly completed £3.9m business centre in East Yorkshire
Chameleon Business Interiors has designed and fitted the communal spaces at East Riding of Yorkshire Council’s new £3.9m business centre, ergo.
The new business centre has been developed by East Riding of Yorkshire Council in partnership with the University of Hull.
With a focus on the renewable and low carbon sector, ergo is due to open in June 2018.
Hull-headquartered Chameleon Business Interiors has now completed work on office, conference and reception areas.
Amanda Hoggart, business centre manager, said: “This is the first time the council’s Business Services Team has worked alongside an interior design company to provide a solution to give the finished product the ‘wow’ factor. Chameleon have certainly achieved this at ergo.”
A key feature of the project included a flooring design using an award-winning recycled product.
Kevin McIntosh, Chameleon head of design, added: “It has been fantastic to be involved in this exciting project which should prove to be an excellent asset for the local business community.
“Our client needed us to complete the work quickly and we met this deadline to complete a successful design and fit-out in this exciting new space.”
