ARKET chooses Liverpool for fifth UK store
Retailer ARKET has revealed plans for a store at Liverpool ONE.
The shop will occupy a two-story, 8,600 sq ft space at 91-92 Paradise Street.
ARKET’s offering with include clothing and accessories for men, women and kids along with homeware products and a ground floor vegetarian café.
The opening is the Scandinavian company’s fifth in the UK, following launches on London’s Regent Street and Covent Garden.
The firm, which also has bricks-and-mortar sites in Copenhagen, Brussels, Munich and Amsterdam, primarily operates online across 18 European markets.
Lars Axelsson, the firm’s managing director, said: “We entered the UK with two great central locations in London last autumn, followed by an opening in East London earlier this year.
“Liverpool ONE is an innovative and inspiring shopping destination and we feel very excited about the opportunity to meet new customers and to expand our presence in the UK.”
Alison Clegg, director of asset management at the property firm behind Liverpool ONE, Grosvenor Europe, commented: “The signing of ARKET secures one of Europe’s most interesting new brands for Liverpool ONE.
“Their presence adds even more appeal to our offer, which is unique in the North West and one of the most compelling in the UK.”
ARKET will open at Liverpool ONE in early autumn 2018.
