Connexin joins London Stock Exchange Group ELITE Programme for High Growth Companies
Connexin has been selected by London Stock Exchange Group to join its ELITE programme for high growth companies, where the firm will benefit from an unrivalled package of business support.
ELITE will offer Connexin the opportunity to connect with professional investors, such as big pension funds, venture capital firms and private equity houses, to secure financing in a safe and efficient environment.
Furqan Alamgir, Connexin CEO, said
*“You only need to take a look at the extraordinary caliber of the other companies on this programme to see what an amazing opportunity this is for Connexin. We’re incredibly proud to have been selected.
It also shows that firms based in the North can access the big league financial apparatus of the South. We intend to make the most of it.“*
The ELITE programme has established a community of 130 of the UK’s best companies ranging from industrials to health care and technology. Alongside Connexin, the most recent intake of eleven companies includes two others from the North East: green technology firm Freschfield and Redu, a digital marketing company.
Alok Sharma, MP Minister of State for Employment: “I want to congratulate the dynamic high growth SMEs that are joining London Stock Exchange Group’s ELITE growth programme. Backing small businesses are key to driving productivity, economic growth and well paid high quality jobs across the country.“
