Creative consultancy LDA Design to launch Manchester office
Creative consultancy LDA Design is expanding with new offices in Manchester, Bristol and Cambridge.
LDA Design said it chose the cities for their thriving local economies and positions within strong growth corridors.
Services offered by the new teams will include landscape architecture, masterplanning and urban design, ecology and town and environmental planning.
Managing director Colin Goodrum said: “Despite continuing uncertainty around Brexit, we feel the time is right to expand our reach.
“It is five years since we last opened a new office, in Glasgow, and the team there is already responsible for transformational work in Scotland, including the redesign of Aberdeen’s Union Terrace Gardens and the regeneration of Sighthill, Glasgow’s major housing estate.”
LDA Design is the firm behind the masterplan for Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and the Swansea Bay Tidal Lagoon.
It already has offices in London, Exeter, Glasgow, Peterborough and Oxford.
