Record year for South East law firm Cripps as profits climb 24%
South East law firm Cripps has reported 24% profit growth in its best year to date.
The company posted a net profit of £7.4m for the 12 months to April 30 2017, up from c.£5.9m the year previous.
Revenue stood at £31.6m, an increase of 8%.
Cripps, which operates from offices across Kent and London, said the results mark its fifth consecutive year of growth.
The firm said it has invested heavily in IT systems over the last year at its new Tunbridge Wells base, located on the former Kent & Sussex Hospital site at Mount Ephraim.
Cripps also recently relocated its London team to a new, modern office near Cannon Street station.
Gavin Tyler, managing partner at Cripps, said: “These record results are a great achievement and testament to the work our staff put in for a number of years.
“Considering the substantial investments we have continued to make over the last 12 months, we set ourselves some fairly ambitious financial targets and we are delighted to have not only met, but exceeded, these figures.”
He added: “Looking at the year ahead, our focus remains on continuing to grow our practice in the South East and London.”
